Aphorisms Islam Ibnu Athaillah,  - The name Ibn Athaillah is certainly no stranger to the Muslims. The figure of Alexandria, Egypt 648 H / 1250 AD has the full name Ahmad ibn Muhammad Ibn Atha'illah As-Sakandari. The As-Sakandari nickname pinned in its name refers to the city where it was born. Since childhood, Ibn Athaillah was known to be very fond of studying. He has studied with several scholars gradually. Among his teachers were Abu Al-Abbas Ahmad ibn Ali Al-Ansari Al-Mursi, a student of the founder of the Al-Syadzili order, Abu Al-Hasan Al-Syadzili who lived during the Mamluk Dynasty. From here he was also known as one of the leading Sufi figures and had a major contribution to the development of Sufism in the Islamic world.

Ibn Athaillah belongs to a productive scholar. There are about 20 books from various Islamic disciplines he wrote. Starting from the book of the field of Sufism, aqeedah, tafsir, hadith, nahwu and ushul fiqh. One of his most famous works is the Al-Hikam book, his monumental work which contains a collection of pearls of wisdom. The messages of virtue in the book of Al-Hikam which was revealed by Ibn Athaillah in the form of a short editorial also attracted the attention of a number of scholars to describe their intentions. Some scholars who have sent the Al-Hikam books include Muhammad bin Ibrahim ibn Ibad ar-Rasyid Rundi, Ahmad ibnu Ajiba, and Ahmad Zarruq. This book of Al-Hikam has even become one of the most widely studied books in most pesantren in Indonesia.

Although he is one of the central figures in a tarekat, it does not mean that the influence of his thinking is limited to the tarekat world. The books of the works of Ibn Athaillah have been widely read by Muslims from various groups, especially the book Al-Hikam. Aphorisms Islam Hasan al-Bashri – The name Hasan al-Bashri is no stranger to Muslims. He is one of the scholars from the tabi'in circles who are known for his oral wisdom. Her mother's words can always touch the hearts of Muslims. His full name is Abu Sa'id ibn Abil-Hasan Yasar al-Bashri, born in Medina in 642 AD, nine years after the death of the Prophet Muhammad. Hasan al-Bashri's father and mother were both former slaves before being released. Although born of parents with such social status, since Hasan al-Bashri's childhood lived in the midst of the affection of the family of the Companions of the Prophet. Even his mother was one of the Prophet's wives, Umm Salamah.
From a young age, Hasan al-Bashri had studied in the homes of the wives of the Prophet. He also diligently gained knowledge from studies conducted by the Companions of the Prophet in the Prophet's Mosque. Mingling with friends makes him grow into a godly person. At the age of 14, he decided to move to the city of Bashrah, Iraq, and settled there. From here the name al-Bashri is pinned by his name, referring to the city of Basrah where he lives.
Moving to Basrah did not make Hasan al-Bashri stop learning. There he later studied with one of the Prophet's companions, Abdullah bin Abbas. From Ibn Abbas, he studied various sciences such as interpretation, hadith, and qiraah. While in the case of literature, he learned a lot from the fourth caliph, Ali ibn Abi Talib. All learning experiences that shape it become faqih in matters of religion. He was also asked several times as an advisor to Amir al-mu'minin.

Aphorisms Islam Buya Hamka, Buya Hamka's wise wordsHaji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah or better known as HAMKA is an Indonesian scholar, historian, politician and writer whose name is very well known by the public. The figure who was born on February 17, 1908 in Nagari Sungai Batang, Tanjung Raya, Agam, West Sumatra is classified as a self-taught student in various scientific fields such as philosophy, literature, history, sociology, and politics. He is listed as the most productive and profiled Muslim writer in the modern history of Indonesia. Up to now, his works have been reprinted many times and are widely used as study material by researchers from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Some of his works have even been raised to the big screen, namely Under the Protection of the Ka'bah and the Sinking of the Ship Van Der Wijck. Al-Azhar's interpretation is HAMKA's greatest work among more than 114 works he has written.
HAMKA was born in the middle of a religious Muslim family. His father, Abdul Karim bin Amrullah alias Haji Rasul, was a pioneer of the Islamic reform movement in Minangkabau. His father was also registered as the founder of Sumatra Thawalib, the first modern Islamic school in Indonesia. This is where HAMKA learns religion and Arabic after stopping at a second grade elementary school. Although he did not complete his education in elementary school, the HAMKA scholarship was recognized by the world which made him a Doctor of Professor. He obtained a Professor degree from Jakarta Mustopo University, while he received the title Doctor of Honoris Causa from two major universities, namely Al-Azhar University Cairo and Nationality University Malaysia. While the name Buya is attached to its name, it is a call of honor for the Minangkabau people.
During his life, Buya HAMKA spent his time as a journalist, writer and teacher. He was also involved in politics through the Islamic-based Masyumi party before the party was finally dissolved. In addition, he was also noted to have held several important positions such as the first MUI chairman and became the Executive Advisor of the Muhammadiyah Center. On July 24, 1981 in Jakarta, Buya HAMKA took his last breath at the age of 73.
